George Vigue formed Custom Systems Design in the early 1980's for the purpose of integrating Audio/Visual, Security, and Home Automation Systems in custom homes and small businesses in South Central Texas. George worked as a contractor and custom systems designer and integrator for many of the large multimedia companies in the San Antonio area as well as for individual clients. The professionalism that Custom Systems Design built over the next several years became well known in the industry both by a growing client resume and by the industry leading systems designers and manufacturers.

Custom Systems Design became highly regarded as a multimedia systems integrator that was in demand for larger projects including integrated university multimedia presentation and integrated distant learning networks, critical medical communications systems between hospitals and medical training facilities and larger commercial and industrial multimedia communication systems. In 2007, Custom Systems Design became incorporated and has been building its customer base while still providing service to existing integrators.
